Every November, we celebrate International Education Week (IEW). The purpose of IEW is to recognize and honor the meaningful impact of international education and exchange programs. The English Language Fellow Program is dedicated to promoting mutual understanding and building English language capacity in communities around the world by sending American TESOL educators on a professional exchange for 10 months.

What’s the impact by-the-numbers of a single year in the English Language Fellow Program? For the 2017-2018 academic year, we sent 135 Fellows to 70 countries. Here is the breakdown of countries and participants for this year alone:
