Country: Lithuania
City: Vilnius

Lithuania is a small, yet vibrant country in Central Europe on the Baltic Sea. It is an EU member and a NATO ally. The country is rich in cultural life. Hotels, restaurants and stores accept credit cards. The national currency is the Euro. There are automatic teller machines (ATM) around the country. There is also an exchange service at the airport and hotels at commercial rates. Use of public transportation is safe. Lithuania is a relatively safe country with very little anti-American sentiment.

Host Institution: Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Lithuania
