Fellow Teaches Primary School Students about Easter in Wuhan, China

Ganghua Primary School, a public institution in Wuhan with 1600 students, welcomed English Language Fellow Lauryn Gallo and Public Affairs Officer (PAO) Jamie Dragon for an Easter event. Gallo taught students about how Americans celebrate Easter and led them in some Easter drawing and coloring activities.

The kids had a fun time learning about the holiday, and the school expressed their desire to improve students’ cultural awareness through similar events. The participants and primary school students enjoyed the opportunity to share what they knew about Easter, learn more about how people celebrate, and ask questions of the Fellow.
