Fellow Volunteers as CrossFit Coach in Amman, Jordan

Fellow Jaala Thibault brought her passion for CrossFit training to Amman, Jordan and began leading endurance classes at her local gym. She has been coaching the all-women’s class, and a variety of teen classes in Olympic Weightlifting, endurance, and high intensity interval training. She has also been able to coach all members at the gym through the Worldwide “CrossFit Games Open” competition, a 5-week worldwide competition that takes place yearly in the CrossFit world.

Participation in sports and exercise is one of the best ways to empower youth and women. In particular, women from her classes have been inspired to live healthier lives and have gained a lot of independence through newfound physical strength. These women have gained confidence in their bodies which will lead to lifelong physical and emotional benefits.
