Learning English by singing

ELF_WHA_Chile_AY13-14_UT_Strand_HighlightPicture-1-125x125English Language Fellow Susan Strand organized a talent show to help high school students in Linares, Chile learn English in a fun and interactive way. During the four-hour activity, students learned songs in English and created their own dance steps. They presented their performances for their families and other guests at the closing ceremony of the University of Talca English Immersion Winter Camp.

“Students enjoy collaborating on creative projects and sharing their achievements with their families. This activity was chosen to promote the use of English through artistic expression and to spotlight the students’ talents in communicating in English,” Strand said.
