Keynote Address by English Language Fellow in Nicaragua

In celebration of UCA’s 20th Anniversary of the English Language Teaching Center, English Language Fellow Trent Hagar was invited to be the keynote speaker at the event. There were talks by prominent alumni, presentations from current students, and a panel discussion on the state of English language teaching in Nicaragua.

Hagar spoke on trends and challenges in English language teaching. This event was an example of the strong bond between the U.S. and UCA’s English Language Teaching Center. Attendees commented on how helpful it was to hear about some of the challenges and changes they may see in their classrooms.
