Teachers Learn to Incorporate Music in the Classroom

English Language Fellow Stuart Dodson conducted a workshop for community members and teachers at the US Consulate in Shenyang. The 90 minute workshop focused primarily on music as a way to diversify instruction and enhance creative thinking through interactive methods.

The 35 participants, who were mostly primary and secondary teachers with at least one middle school student, engaged in a variety of activities that allowed them to be bold and imaginative, and to demonstrate lessons involving music.
