English Language Fellow Kennis Look was recently invited to attend the Week of Nations at the National University of La Rioja in Argentina. This week-long multicultural event  celebrated the diversity and history of different nations. Look received a warm welcome message from the university head and the newly appointed chairwoman of the languages department at the opening ceremony.

Musical numbers were performed live in French, Italian, and Spanish and contributed to the festive atmosphere. Later that evening, Look delivered a writing workshop to the students and faculty of the university. “The attendees were so appreciative of the best practices I shared that several students spoke with me after the workshop to express their enthusiasm to apply the approaches they learned during the training,” Look said.
